My Story….

Hi, I’m Chantal Polet (Shanti), the heart behind ShantiSpace.

As a sensitive child, I always felt connected to something beyond the ordinary. I could perceive and feel things that others couldn’t, which often made me feel different and misunderstood. For many years, I tried to suppress this side of myself, until I reached a breaking point with a burnout. That moment became a powerful turning point, leading me to embark on a transformative journey to heal, grow, and rediscover inner peace—Shanti, a word in Sanskrit that embodies the peace I had always longed for.

One of this journeys took me to India, where I spent a year immersed in spirituality and personal development. I completed yoga teacher trainings, meditation and Reiki courses. I lived in ashrams, a Buddhist nuns' monastery, and with Indian families, while also volunteering and participating in Vipassana retreats. During this time, I attended satsangs with renowned spiritual teachers like Mooji and Sadhguru, whose wisdom deeply enriched my perspective on life. In Nepal, I further expanded my healing practice by training as a massage therapist, laying the foundation for the many other trainings and courses that followed.

Upon returning to the Netherlands, I opened my own yoga studio and healing practice, pouring my heart and soul into helping others. Unfortunately, due to the impact of COVID-19, I had to close my doors after two years. However, even in this loss, I found space for a new beginning.

Now, years later, having grown even more and deepened my own healing journey, I feel a even stronger calling to help others along their unique paths, wherever they may be. Inspired by my own experiences and the wisdom I’ve gained, I am here to help you remember who you truly are. Together, we will work on rediscovering your inner strength and passion so you can shine brightly once again.
